Events & Projects

Our Bishop Green Bees working in our own community to support the international “Panda Miti” project of Roots & Shoots, the international youth organization founded by primatologist Jane Goodall.

As part of Panda Miti, the Green Bees and Planet Ottoson will be planting trees in Arlington's open spaces, parks and public areas, including the memorial tree for Paul Leone in the Columbia Road sidewalk space by Bishop this fall.

To support the project, the Green Bees are offering evergreen, spruce, viburnum, and other bird-attracting tree seedlings, and many choice plants form Mahoneys and Bishop neighbor and gardener extraordinaire Lori Kenschaft (order below).
